Sixth Form Leadership Team
Jeremy Frost – Head of Sixth Form
As Head of Sixth Form, Jeremy Frost takes overall responsibility for pastoral care, student wellbeing and the day-to-day activities within the sixth form. Jeremy is the senior line manager for all our Deputy Heads of Sixth Form and Academic Tutors. In addition, he is the KS5 Subject Lead for Drama & Theatre Studies
Scott Aitken – Deputy Head of Sixth Form
Scott Aitken oversees our enrichment programme, the PSHE and work-related learning programme and the Sixth Form Student Council. In addition, he is the Head of the Geography Department. Scott is the Sixth Form Subject Lead for the International Project Qualification (IPQ)
Stephen Leggott – Deputy Head of Sixth Form
Mr Leggott has responsibility for the oversight of all sixth form CIAG and the higher education application process. He also works closely with Mrs Jarrett, our Careers Lead and Mrs Peacey, the Deputy Head responsible for our most able and talented provision/Early Entry. In addition, Mr Leggott is the KS5 Subject Lead for Sociology.
Sarah Thomas – Deputy Head of Sixth Form (Student support)
Sarah Thomas oversees the student wellbeing and support provision at Comberton Sixth Form. This includes mental health or medical needs and emotional support. Sarah coordinates a team of mentors and the counsellor who work with our sixth form students to meet and support these identified needs. In addition, Sarah Thomas has overall responsibility for sixth form administration and systems.
Laura Peacey – Deputy Head of Sixth Form
Laura Peacey oversees the SEND provision at Comberton Sixth Form, managing a team of experianced Teaching Assistants. Laura also coordinates our programmes to support the most able and talented students (including responsibility for the CIAG provision for both Oxbridge and Early Entry students). In addition, Laura is the Sixth Form Subject Lead for the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
Carli Callander – Sixth Form Administrator
Carli Callander supports the Sixth Form Manager and Leadership Team with the administration associated with the successful running of Comberton Sixth Form. Carli overseas all aspects of attendance for Sixth Form , data management and our communications.
Sixth Form Pastoral and Academic Tutors
Students are supported by a Pastoral and Academic Tutor during their two years with us. The pastoral programme provides students with regular contact time with their tutor to support their academic studies, check-in on their general wellbeing and explore a variety of important activities.
